To fill the niche for small specialist resorts, spas and
residences, Tom embarked on the Per Aquum joint venture with key shareholder Universal
Enterprises, Maldives.

Prior to Per Aquum, Tom was the Island Chief and General Manager of Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa, where he transformed the resort into a worldclass property worthy of the award-winning status it attained during his tenure. It was this ingenuity that attracted key shareholders to invest in Per Aquum and the result has been two critically acclaimed properties in the Maldives, one in Sri Lanka, six spa contracts and additional properties set to open in Dubai, the Maldives, the Caribbean, Seychelles and Marrakech. Tom previously served as GM for Accor Asia Pacific as well as All Seasons Kakadu.

Sharon McIvor
Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and Per Aquum
Responsibility
Sharon holds the dual role of Executive Assistant to the CEO, Tom McLoughlin, and Per Aquum Responsibility. She develops and coordinates executive support services for the CEO and assists him with a number of high profile projects. In her role as CSR Officer, she is in charge of Per Aquum's CSR division, "Per Aquum Responsibility", and ensures that Per Aquum continues to be committed to social and environmental causes.
With over 10 years working in executive support roles, Sharon has extensive experience working in the NGO sector. Some of her key positions have included EA to the Director General, Save the Children UK and Project and Education Officer at a school for underprivileged children in Malaysia. Her most recent assignment was in Sydney as a Human Resources Advisor for the Cancer Institute NSW.
Sharon was born in Scotland and has dual British/Australian nationality. She has travelled extensively and has a keen interest in international development. She has studied Anthropology and International Development at Deakin University in Melbourne.

Martin Van Der Reijden
Managing Director Resort Collection
Martin provides leadership and strategic management to all properties within the Resort Collection and oversees Per Aquum Residences. In addition to this he works closely with the Group Directors to ensure that all strategies are aligned with business operations and the continued, targeted growth of Per Aquum.
Martin joined us from the Conrad Phuket Resort & Spa where he held the position of General Manager as well as simultaneously holding the positions of Hilton South Asia Food & Beverage Coordinator and Project Management Hilton Krabi, Conrad Chiang Mai. Martin has significant pre-opening experience, a strong food and beverage and operations knowledge and an excellent range of international experience across all sectors of the hospitality industry. His career has taken him to Australia, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Switzerland and Thailand and he speaks fluent German, English, Dutch and French.

Rachel Grier
Director of Sales
Rachel joined the Per Aquum team on the 1st June 2007 into the newly created position of Director of Sales, reporting directly to the Managing Director Resort Collection. Within this role she will also work closely with Mark Carson to ensure a streamlined approach to all sales, marketing and communication strategies.
Rachel's main focus will be to oversee and implement all sales campaigns and initiate action plans to approach and secure new business opportunities across all markets and distribution channels. She will utilize market trends, setting revenue targets for all business units and will mentor the respective property level sales managers to ensure occupancy and room rate targets are achieved. She will also develop existing relationships with the reservations teams and product managers of the leading luxury tour operators, SLH and other travel industry partners. Mark will continue to be heavily involved, focusing on marketing opportunities with our affiliated partners.
Rachel has over 20 years of experience within the travel industry having held senior international positions across the sales and marketing spectrum. Her most recent position was Director of Sales & Marketing for Bintan Lagoon Resort Management. In this position she achieved best ever hotel occupancy and increased revenue within a nine month period. She is skilled in building relationships with all sectors of the industry, has tremendous business acumen and is a team leader with exceptional communication skills and ecommerce knowledge.

Marc Reader
General Manager, Huvafen Fushi, Maldives
A dynamic and enthusiastic individual, Marc joined Per Aquum in February 2007 as Resort Manager and was quickly promoted to General Manager. He has over 27 years of hospitality industry experience to his name. Marc, an Australian, began his career as a Chef, working his way through some of Australia's top restaurants. In 1985, he went solo and opened his own restaurant, Haskins Garden Restaurant which went on to be one of Perth's infamous restaurants.
After 10 years of running Haskins, Marc moved to the UK, before returning to his home country as Director of Food & Beverage at 'Georges'. Following this he took up the position of Executive General Manager at The Mansion Hotel at Werribee Park. During his tenure, The Mansion Hotel was awarded Australia's finest, independent and most acclaimed boutique hotel brand in Australia and also won a coveted spot in Conde Nast Traveler 2002 Top 20 Stays. At Huvafen Fushi, Marc injects a breath of fresh air, an enthusiastic personality and a passion to enhance the already magnificent foundation of Huvafen Fushi.

David and Jacqueline O'Hara
General Management Couple - Desert Palm, Dubai
David and Jacqueline O'Hara bring strong operational and strategic direction as Management Couple Desert Palm, Dubai. They are overseeing the pre-opening phases of this boutique property and will continue management of the resort when it opens in 2007.
David and Jacqueline already have extensive experience of living and working in the Middle East. David once served as Executive Chef to His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan, while Jacqueline was Spa and Health Club Manager for Le Royal Hotel, Jordan. There she managed both the preopening phases and operation.
The couple's recent certification in Executive Residential Management from the Australian Butler Training School will also enable them to ensure Per Aquum standards are not only met but that guest expectation and experience are exceeded at Desert Palm Dubai.

Yael Sarah Bradbury
Director Sales Residences
Yael joined us in January 2007 as Director of Sales Residences. She leads Per Aquum's expansion into residential sales offering discerning buyers a new collection of luxury residences in desired locations such as
the Seychelles, Morocco, and the Caribbean.
Based in the Seychelles, Yael's initial focus will be on the launch of Per Aquum's first residential project located on a private island in the Seychelles. She will be responsible for its sales and implementing a
competitive marketing strategy from conception to completion.
Given her diversity of employers from two Olympic Games Organising Committees (1996 Atlanta Games, Sydney 2000 Games) to the Australian shopping centre giant, Westfield Pty Ltd, Yael is used to throwing herself into projects from the ground-up and developing sales and marketing strategies that captivate the imagination, generate media
buzz and deliver visionary results.
Prior to joining Per Aquum Yael was the Sales & Marketing Manager, for the Sansara Resort & Spa development located in Queensland, Australia.

Dale Shone
On-site Construction Supervisor
With over 30 years experience in the building industry, Dale plays an integral role in coordinating consultants, contractors and overseeing the logistics and procurement of Per Aquum's projects planned for the
Seychelles.
He oversees new projects from the conceptual development stages through to final construction ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Most importantly, Dale will be our man on the ground to ensure all new developments adhere to Per Aquum's signature style and top-of-theline features and quality.
For the last 15 years Dale has held management roles in projects delivering five star residential and resort style accommodation in Australia and the United States. Prior to joining Per Aquum, Dale managed the construction
program for a five star gated eco-resort called Sunrise@1770 located in Queensland, Australia.

Beckett Tucker
Business Development Consultant
Beckett's imagination, creativity and endless energy have made him an integral part of the Per Aquum team since July 2006. Based in the Seychelles, Beckett has been working alongside Per Aquum's key stakeholders involved
in our planned projects there ranging from sales agents to brand partners. He is directly involved in launching and implementing a competitive sales and marketing campaign for Per Aquum's Residential developments.
Beckett brings with him a diverse background across television production, sales and marketing and the wine and fashion industry. Following two years at Australia's Channel Seven Network, Beckett was a Key Account Manager for McWilliams Wines dealing with the major hotels, top restaurants and bars within the Sydney Metropolitan area. He then went on to launch Fiji Water in Australia, securing distribution in the top end of town and coordinating all marketing, sponsorships and PR activities. During these years he has also gained event experience by co-coordinating high profile events such as Mercedes Australian Fashion Week (2003 - 2005) and several David Jones Collection Launches.
Before joining Per Aquum, Beckett owned and operated a wine and cocktail bar in the Sydney suburb of Leichhardt where he gained valuable business management skills.

Ben Corser
Managing Director
Ben starts with Per Aquum on 1st June 2007 and will be based in Singapore. He will report directly to CEO Tom McLoughlin. As Per Aquum moves forward, Ben's mandate is to set up this new division and effectively launch Per Aquum Yachts to become one of the leading players in this field. Per Aquum Yachts will be firstly introduced in the Maldives and the Seychelles.
Of Australian nationality, Ben's from a hotel management background where he has held top management positions in hotel operations both in Australia and in the UK. Ben completed his initial studies at College Tourism and Hotel Management in Brisbane and he also holds a Masters Degree from University of Helsinki, School of Economics.
Ben joins Per Aquum most recently after a successful career as a strategist in channel and retail distribution. His last assignment was with Nokia Asia Pacific and before that he held Asia Pacific senior management positions with Microsoft and Johnson & Johnson.

Andrew Friedlander
Consultant
Based in London, one of Andy's key responsibilities is to launch Per Aquum Yachts in the UK market. He is currently building a contact database and strategic alliances with financial institutions, social and lifestyle networks, luxury brand partners and key agencies while developing a brand presence in other appropriate environments to attract applications for Per Aquum Yacht's Fractional Owners programme. Part of his role also includes researching relevant trade shows, events and working with the retained public relations agencies to maximise coverage and product knowledge of Per Aquum Yachts.
Andy comes from a marketing and journalistic background having freelanced for leading publications such as GQ, Sunday Times and The Daily Telegraph. He has also had a successful radio career and is extremely knowledgeable about the travel and spa industries and current trends.

Managing Director Spa Collection
Strategic direction. Innovative concepts. Jane manages Per Aquum's rapidly growing Spa Collection. She brings a wealth of knowledge and awareness to the spa collection in driving its growth as a recognizable force in the global luxury spa market. Results driven and with a keen eye for detail, Jane oversees the company's spa design with a team of spa consultants in establishing innovative, creative, and culturally diverse concepts and liaises closely with all stakeholders, particularly the owners, to ensure that unprecedented returns are met and that correct financial business development and technical decisions are made prior to any project.
Jane played an integral role in defining and establishing Per Aquum as a company, with strong influence on resort concept development. She continues this role with her husband Tom, Chief Executive Officer, in leading the development of Per Aquum, with special focus on the Spa Collection.

General Manager Spa Collection
Following Scot's successful tenure at The Fortress, we are pleased to announce he has now taken on the new role of General Manager Spa Collection.
Scot has been with Per Aquum since 2003 and has successfully launched The Fortress, Sri Lanka, which went on to win international acclaim under his direction.
Scot will be based in Male and will oversee all of the operational contracts of the spas. He will work with owners and shareholders along with the seven international public relation agencies to maximize media coverage and international recognition for the spa collection, driving sales and increasing revenue. Under his business focused direction, the Per Aquum Spa Collection will continue to remain at the forefront of the spa industry.

Amanda Wilson
Operations Manager
Amanda began her career in hospitality at Crown Casino Australia before moving to Hayman Island Resort in food and beverage and functions and events followed by 5 years with Ansett Australia as a Flight Attendant.
Amanda's passion for health, wellbeing and spa's led her to Jurlique International as a Spa Supervisor and was then was appointed to the Spa Manager at The Mansion Hotel Werribee Park in 2002. Following this, she began traveling and working around the world for a member of the Saudi Royal Family on board yachts and in villas providing 6 star luxury service and training with multi cultural teams.
Amanda initially joined Per Aquum in 2006 as Spa Manager of Full Moon Maldives where she successfully increased revenue and streamlined business operations to achieve consistent growth. She now looks after the Spa Collection in her new role as Operations Manager and will be working closely with Scot to ensure all spas exceed guest expectations.

Mark started with Per Aquum in May 2006 and under his direction the brand has achieved unprecedented growth and recognition worldwide. As Group Director of Marketing & Communications, Mark reports directly to the CEO and ensures that the brand strategies in place support the long term success of each of the business units. His key responsibilities within the role include marketing and communication activities, with focus on luxury brand
alliances and the presence of Per Aquum's corporate identity in every aspect of business, creating worldwide recognition. One of his key achievements so far has been the conception and launch of the Per Aquum Magazine - Pure, a glossy publication tailored for the independent like minded traveller.
Mark is a strong team leader with a high degree of self motivation and initiative. With the use of his exceptional knowledge and insight into luxury brands in fashion, travel, cars and jewellery, and his strong communication skills, Mark sets Per Aquum apart as a company that offers its guests an individual, creative experience that makes a difference.
Mark's previous postings include International Publishing Director with the prestigious Quintessentially magazine, where he was responsible for establishing the team and for its successful launch. Stacey's role involves all public relations activities for Per Aquum. As Group Public Relations Manager she is responsible for ensuring targeted media coverage for both the company and each individual resort, spa and residence. Her role encompasses the effective management of eight Public Relations Consultants based in United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, United States, U.A.E, Italy and Russia and ensures each consultancy delivers the very best in
targeted media features. She is also responsible for forging new alliances with key publications in emerging destinations such as Japan, Korea, Middle East and Asia as appropriate for each property. Stacey has been instrumental in maintaining consistent relationships with leading associations such as Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Quintessentially and she has played a crucial role in establishing the reputation of the company on the international luxury travel scene.

She brings experience in recruitment, consultancy and generalist human resources areas, focusing on the hospitality industry. Natalie joined Per Aquum as Group Training Manager where she ensured the highly unique Per Aquum experience for all guests by concentrating on enriching the customer service talents of our staff with Per Aquum's distinctive style. Natalie is also currently earning a Master of Education degree, specialising in Adult Education, through the University of Technology, Sydney.

In charge of Per Aquum's asset and profit management, Bob's role is to maximise profitability and capital values through regular analytical reviews with particular emphasis on revenues and expenditure. Each property is benchmarked through the use of key performance indicators to identify and replicate best practice, thereby driving Per Aquum
profitability and maximising returns for investors. Bob has over 30 years experience in the hotel industry, having held senior hotel asset management positions for over 20 years. This experience includes establishing and heading, for over 10 years, the hotel division of Thakral Holdings Limited, one of Australia's largest and most reputable hotel companies.
Bob is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Kristina Pacheco
Group Director of Project Development
As Group Director of Project Development, Kristina leads the continued expansion of Per Aquum. She is responsible for strategically sourcing external resort, spa and residence management contracts in desired locations throughout the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Middle East.
Within these destinations, Kristina works with external parties, governments, owners and shareholders to create a 'Naturally Modern' Per Aquum concept. She ensures that each concept captures the uniqueness of each destination, while being environmentally sound, socially responsible and realising unprecedented returns on investment.
Kristina's background in resort property and business development brims with original, successful projects that fuse responsible tourism with profitability. Her professional experience includes aboriginal tourism at Pajinka, Cape York, as Consultant to Baillie Lodges and portfolio development to both P&O Australian Resorts and Voyages. Kristina's experience in the creation of new resorts includes the awarded Longitude 131o, Wilson Island Resort, and Southern Ocean Lodge (Kangaroo Island 2006).

Francis W. Savy
Development Consultant, Indian Ocean
Strategic and focused. As Development Consultant - Indian Ocean, Francis brings a wealth of knowledge to the Per Aquum staple. Within this role, he sources additional resort and spa opportunities in the Seychelles, advises on the environmental impact of planning and operational procedures, and researches the finest consultants for each project.
He is well known within the tourism industry and brings with him an invaluable database of influential Indian Ocean contacts.
Francis's previous experience includes five years as CEO for the Seychelles Tourism Marketing Authority. There he developed and implemented strategic and operational marketing platforms, including brand definition and re-positioning, to assist in the development of high-end tourism in the Seychelles. In addition to this, he played a crucial role in
the creation of a conducive business environment for both local and international investors, which led to the introduction of top brand developments and investments. Prior to the STMA Francis was involved in the implementation and development of a number of Seychellois programs on both government and private levels.

As Regional Engineer, Anil oversees the engineering of all Per Aquum properties to ensure the smooth running of the company. Sri Lankan born, Anil gained his experience from working in a range of top international resorts including Al Ain Hilton UAE and Colombo Hilton in Sri Lanka. Anil is a graduate of German Technical Training Institute in Sri Lanka and majored in Electro Mechanical and Air Conditioning. He is also a member of Institute of Plant Engineers UK, a member of the Engineering Council UK and a member of ASHRA - American Society of Heat, Refrigeration and Air conditioning.

Jace Mullins joined Per Aquum as Group Information Technology Manager where he uses his extensive skill, experience and IT knowledge to provide superior problem resolution and guidance to Per Aquum's technological needs.
