Launch of Hotel Costes 12
The iconic French DJ and founder of the multi-million selling compilation series Hôtel Costes, played an exclusive sunset set at Desert Palm in conjunction with the launch of the latest in the Hôtel Costes series – Hôtel Costes 12. Starting as the sun dips down, this is the first event of its kind for Desert Palm. Doors open at 16.00 with Stéphane playing from 17.00 until 19.30.
HISTORIC DUBAI
Desert Palm by Per AQUUM and Creative Art Centre, host Retro Photographic Exhibition by Michael Hamilton Clark. Tying in with National Day Celebrations on Dec 2nd, the exhibition was a collection of 40 photographs taken between 1965 and 1971 which highlight the beginning of one of the world’s most interesting cities and its unprecedented growth in such a short amount of time.

From 2100, Poet will hit the decks with an electrifying session of his best mixes. Another one of a kind event at Desert Palm, doors open at 1800.
CHARLES SCHILLINGS
Renowned DJ and Producer, Charles Schillings returns this July 29th, 2011 to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Huvafen Fushi’s renowned Dream Calendar. Charles’ African origins and Belgian culture inspired him to ‘tune in’ at the age of 10 when he was inspired by the Jackson Five. Charles is credited as Sound Designer for Karl Lagerfeld, CELINE and Alexandre Vauthier.
